If you're motivated enough to go searching for muscle gain information on the
web, then I know this stuff is important to you.
I'd be willing to bet you can relate to one or more of these reasons:
- you're too damn skinny (and tired of being called 'skinny')
- you want a body that turns heads (for the RIGHT reasons)
- You want to feel better, stronger and more confident about yourself
- you can't fit into the clothes you want
- you're fascinated with "how big" you could get
- you want to impress the opposite sex
- you're ashamed to take your shirt off at the beach or pool
- you want the pride, attention and respect that comes from having a solid physique
These are some of the top reasons we're attracted to building muscle and improving our bodies.
Heck - I can certainly identify with these too.
My fascination with muscle growth and strength training started way back when I was a kid.
My dad had all these pro muscle building magazines dotted around the house, and a set of home gym equipment. Nothing too fancy - just a bench for barbell work, dumbbells, skipping ropes, the famous 'bullworker', a pair of ankle 'sand-bag' weights, and a long yellow broom handle he'd use for back rotation exercises.
I can clearly remember interrupting his sunday morning training sessions, and begging him to let me join in. I could only have been a skinny 8 or 9 year-old at the time. He'd then get me doing simple stuff like press-ups and sit-ups, until I'd collapse on the floor, and start messing around with his 'bullworker'.
As the years passed by, my interest continued to grow and by the time I was 17 or 18 I was doing regular gym workouts up to 5 times a week. This was back in the late 1990s, when I'd simply photocopy muscle routine programs from my early Men's Health magazine subscriptions and try them out directly in the gym.
Looking back, there was a LOT of stuff I was doing wrong back then: Chopping and changing my routines every month - overtraining - not eating enough... but the process did help to install a strong commitment to training hard and regularly.
Problem was, I wasn't really achieving the kind of muscle gains I really wanted. I mean sure, my chest had some definition, but for all intents and purposes I was still pretty skinny and my arms and legs just weren't getting any bigger.
Then at university my attention turned primarily to long-distance running - half-marathons and marathons - and any gains I had been making quickly started to disappear.
Fast-forward a couple more years, and I was working for an investment bank. That translated into looooooooooong hours, little control over when I ate, and very little time and energy to put into training.
Something had to give. And it did.
I quit that line of work, retrained in coaching and a branch of behavioral psychology, and suddenly found myself in control of my eating patterns, time, and
training once again.
That's when I started to get more serious about building muscle. I bought programs, tried supplements (no steroids though!), and committed to ONE program at a time, for a minimum of 12 weeks at a time.
Looking back, I still wasn't doing everything perfectly, and that explains why my
progress was very slow and unimpressive. I've never been interested in getting absolutely HUGE. Instead I've wanted to get a muscular and athletic physique to serve me well in my martial arts - (I'm a black belt in Kenpo karate) - adventure racing, and life in general.
Ultimately, I know that when it comes to the important stuff that's going to have a BIG impact on your life - like treating your body well, and getting the most for your efforts, - it's very easy to go wrong.
Without the right kind of guidance, a lot of people screw up, get disappointed, and give up.
I want you to be different.

That's WHY I'm here...
...because I'm tired of all conflicting information out there. It just leaves people feeling confused and unable to make progress.
...because I'm well aware of the many unscrupulous nutrition companies just 'pimping' their latest products on unsuspecting people, without any concern for the customer's wellbeing, and with little concern for the product's quality.
So I decided I WOULDN'T allow it any more.
I decided to research everything out there, experiment with it, find out what works, and ultimately boil it down into a simple step-by-step formula that works.
That's how my 'Skinny Gain Muscle' system was born.
To be honest, I originally did it for myself... because the existing info on the magazine racks just wasn't delivering great results.
But when it worked, and when friends and people in my gym started approaching me for advice, I realized that my discoveries could help a ton of skinny guys who want to get ripped, shredded and buff but just don't know how.
So now I'm here to help others succeed in an area that took me a long time to figure out. The results speak for themselves and I'm certain I can help skinny guys achieve results far more quickly, easily and with less hassle and expense than if they tried on their own.
So that just about wraps up my little bio in this quirky and mysterious world of muscle and fitness.
